Try our Turkey Pinwheels with Dried Cherries for a scrumptious holiday appetizer.
In a medium sized bowl, blend cream cheese, garden vegetable cheese spread, and mayo together until combined and smooth. Fold in fresh herbs and set aside.
To assemble pinwheels, start with a flour tortilla and spread cream cheese mixture in an even layer. Add a layer of shredded cheddar cheese, dried cherries and top with greens. Press down lightly and top with a layer of deli turkey. Start at end closest to you and tightly roll the tortilla into a log.
With seam side down, cut off end pieces with a sharp knife. Cut the remaining log into five equal-sized pinwheels and place on a platter. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Serve the same day or can be refrigerated overnight on a covered platter.
Don’t use a heavy hand with the layered ingredients or you will not get a tight roll that will stay together after cutting.
