Pickled Snow Peas

Our Pickled Snow Peas, keeps all the crispness of the snow peas while giving it a zesty pop of flavor. Try it in your next bloody Mary!


Ingredients

  • 12 oz. snow peas
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 TBLS salt
  • 2 cloves garlic (1 clove minced, 1 clove sliced) 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste

Directions

Step 1. 

Pack peas into a mason jar.


Step 2. 

Bring vinegar, water, salt, and minced garlic to a boil over high heat in a medium-size saucepan.


Step 3. 

Sprinkle red pepper flakes and sliced garlic over peas and shake.


Step 4. 

Pour hot brine over peas until completely covered and seal.


Step 5. 

Let cool 15 min and refrigerate for at least 2 days before using. Peas will stay crisp for at least a week longer.
