Fresh blueberries add a tasty twist to traditional vanilla flavors. It is like blueberries with cream in cookie form!
In bowl, combine flour, oats, cinnamon, baking powder, soda, and salt stirring to combine.
In a seperate bowl, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
Beat in vanilla and egg until combined. Add flour mixture to creamed butter mixture and mix at low speed until incorporated.
Fold in chocolate and rinsed, dried blueberries.. Drop by tablespoons onto parchment lined cookie sheet pressing down gently to flatten slightly.
Bake in a 350 F degree oven until edges are brown 7-8 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool on wire rack. Makes about 24 cookies.
Make sure your blueberries are dry before incorporating into the dough. Toss blueberries in a little flour to help them "float" in the dough
